Processing: archive folders
From GHM wiki
When handling new accessions, if the Director is not currently in the museum, the first thing you should do (after having the donor sign the accession papers) is to gather all donations into manila folders, and place in an acid-free archival box. Spare boxes can be found in the basement, up on the shelf on the far left of the room when you walk downstairs. If the subject matter of the accession is unique, it deserves its own box. Otherwise, place it in an appropriate preexisting box (family collections, general archive, etc.)
If the artifacts and/or documents have been placed in an acid free box, make sure to label the box with basic information such as donor, general subject, or other important information with a sticky note.
